Modern Love: A Reflection on Tolerating the Intolerable

There's so much I want to say, so much I've observed, but sometimes it's hard to find the right words to express it all. Yet, here I am, determined to unravel some of the complexities that modern love presents. Love. It's a word that carries so much weight, so much meaning. But what happens when that meaning gets distorted? When love becomes synonymous with pain, with sacrifice, with tolerating the intolerable? I look around me, and I see it everywhere. Friends, acquaintances, even strangers on social media, all sharing their stories of love gone wrong. Stories of compromise taken to the extreme, of sacrificing one's own happiness for the sake of someone else's. And I can't help but wonder, why?
